Deep Fried Pickles

Sharilyn’s Best Deep Fried DILL PICKLES

 Step 1 Drain the juice from the pickle jar and refill the jar with the garlic powder, hot sauce, buttermilk and Egg yolk. Marinate the pickles for at least 30 minutes. Dill Pickles ( Hamburger dill the best they have ridges) ½ Cup Buttermilk 1Teaspoon Garlic Powder 1 Egg Yolk 2 Tablespoons Hot Sauce When ready… Heat your oil 

Step 2 Combine flour, Corn starch, Salt, Pepper and Lawery’s Seasoning salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk to mix the dry ingredients well. 2 Cups Flour ¼ Cup Corn Starch 1 Teaspoon Salt ½ Teaspoon Pepper 1 Tablespoon Seasoning Salt Step 2 B Take one cup of Breading Mix Add 1 cup Panko ( Breading) and 1 teaspoon seasoning Salt. 

Step 3 Drain Pickles..KEEP Marinade ! Toss a portion of the pickles in the seasoned flour mixture. Allow the pickles to become coated with the flour. Transfer pickles to wire strainer. Shake the excess flour from the pickles.

 Step 4 This must be done very FAST! Put a the pickles back in the marinade. Drain again then coat pickles with Panko and flour mixture. Transfer to wire strainer shake the excess off. Step 5 Put pickles in deep fryer ..Cook for about 2 to four minutes. Drain on paper towel. 

These are great served with homemade ranch dressing or Blue Cheese Dressing
